Word from the MD

It’s fair to say that the last few months brought challenges for businesses across the country. The unavoidable rise in costs – from increased National Insurance contributions to the minimum wage uplift – coupled with the uncertainty caused by “Trump’s tariffs”, created an air of concern that impacted spending across many sectors.

Despite this backdrop, we’re proud to share that we’ve had a positive first quarter. We’ve achieved:

• Our best daily sales figures to date
• Our highest margins on key product ranges

This is down to the exceptional efforts of our entire team – we thank them for their hard work and commitment.

There have been plenty of highlights beyond the numbers too:

• We exhibited at Automechanika UK for the first time, showcasing our Car & Van ranges
• We were welcomed by overseas suppliers and had a valuable visit from our parent company UPG South Africa
• Congratulations to Imex Milan, our team who gave a fantastic account of themselves at the first industry 5-a-side football tournament – well done!
